Questions about files

How do I get my files?

Right after payment you get an email with your download link. The link also appears on the order confirmation page.

What do I need to build a project?

The download contains the digital files and a quick start guide, not the physical parts. Every component is listed in the bill of materials (BOM) with quantities and shop links. Most projects need soldering experience and some basic electronics knowledge.

Is the source code included?

No. The download contains the STL files, the ready-to-flash firmware file and the PCB manufacturing files. Firmware source code and editable CAD or PCB design files are not part of the package.

Which printer do I need?

The recommended print settings are in each project’s quick start guide. Some parts need special setups, for example the ADHD ONE keys, which need a multicolor printer.

Do I get updates?

Yes. Future updates to the files and firmware are free for everyone who bought them.

I found an error. Where can I report it?

The projects are shared as they are and may not be perfect yet. If you find an error in the files or firmware, or have an idea for an improvement, you’ll find a feedback address in the quick start guide. Please note that I can’t offer personal help with printing, sourcing parts or building.

Can I share the files or sell what I build?

No. The files are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Please don’t share or resell the files, and don’t sell printed parts, PCBs, kits or finished devices made from them.

Can I return a digital download?

Because files are delivered instantly, the right of withdrawal ends once the download starts. You agree to this at checkout.
